Dogs Swim at Pool - Poolside with sun and dogs… could it get any better? Friendly Paws Pet Supply & Grooming and The Athens City Arts, Parks & Recreation and has teamed up with the Athens County Humane Society (ACHS) to announce the 2nd annual Dog Swim, an event allowing residents to bring their dogs to the pool to swim at the end of the pool season. This was a huge success and lots of fun last year and this year wil...l be even better!
The dog swim is slated for 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, August 28 at the Athens City Pool located on East State Street. Cost is $5 per dog and their human companions are free of charge. Free dog food samples will be provided by Friendly Paws Pet Supplies & Grooming and $5 nail trims will be provided part of the day with 50% of the proceeds going to ACHS.
